The disc doesn't dull. It sharpens itself as it works.

STARKE RAZOR Mesh Sanding Discs are built around CoruEdge Technology — a semi-brittle corundum grain system engineered to fracture in a controlled, predictable way during sanding. Where traditional abrasive grains wear smooth and lose their bite, CoruEdge grains continuously expose fresh, sharp cutting edges with every pass. The cut stays aggressive from the first disc rotation to the last, delivering faster material removal, a cleaner and more consistent scratch pattern, and significantly longer disc life than conventional sandpaper.

For gelcoat oxidation removal and hull refinishing, that consistency matters: a uniform scratch pattern is what lets your compound stage polish out cleanly instead of fighting stray deep scratches left by a worn disc.

Open mesh, clean cut

RAZOR's open mesh substrate is purpose-built for dry sanding on boats, yachts, fiberglass, and marine substrates. The open weave channels dust and debris away from the cutting surface, resisting the clogging that kills disc performance and contaminates your work area. Paired with dust extraction, it keeps the abrasive clear, the air cleaner, and the surface ready for the next stage without rework.

Why you'll want it

  • CoruEdge self-renewing grain — controlled fracture keeps the disc razor-sharp through the full session
  • Faster material removal and a consistent scratch pattern that sets up cleanly for compounding
  • Open mesh construction — maximum dust extraction, minimal clogging
  • Durable hook-and-loop backing mounts to any standard backing pad and holds through sustained professional pressure
  • Longer disc life — change discs less, finish more

Where to use it

Fiberglass, gelcoat, paint, primer, metal, and plastic — from heavy defect removal at P80 to pre-polish refinement at P1000 across hulls, topsides, and automotive panels.
